Conditions of Use

Good maintenance is required to keep your generator in the best operating condition.

To ensure the best quality and reliability you should follow the maintenance guidelines provided in the booklet with your generator. You should also only use genuine parts or other equivalent for repair and replacement.

The information shown below are based on average operating conditions. Some engines will need more frequent servicing if that used in dirty conditions. If a generator has not been looked after as per shown in the manual, returns and warrenty jobs may be declined.

Important safety precautions:
•Make sure the engine is in the off position before your begin any service, maintenance or repairs
•Make there that is adequate ventilation whenever you operate the engine as they are usually air cooled
•Let the engine cool down before touching it
•Never run the engine in any other means other than as detailed in the Owners Manual
•Make sure you have the tools required for the job and skills required before you begin
•Ensure that there are no cigarettes, sparks or flames around any fuel related parts.


GENERATORS - Each use
•Check Engine oil level
•Check air filter cleaner

First month or 10 hours
•Change Engine oil fully

Every 3 months or 50 hours
•Clean air filter cleaner

Every 6 months or 100 hours
•Change Engine oil fully
•Check & clean spark plug
•Clean Sediment cup

Every 1 year or 300 hours
•Replace air filter element completely
•Replace spark plug
•Check Fuel lines & replace if necessary
